NCLR Annual Conference Preparations

C2E2 will conduct and/or coordinate five workshops at the Annual Conference in Milwaukee. These include workshops on: Parent involvement, the Milwaukee School Choice experiment, the NCLR Charter School Development Initiative orientation session, the Project LEER Job Readiness Toolkit, and early childhood teacher training.

Additionally, C2E2 will assist in the coordination of an external event co-sponsored by the National Black Child Development Institute (NBCDI) and NCLR affiliate La Causa.

This will be a half-day meeting for local childcare providers and advocates to set an agenda around local childcare policy issues.
